Buck began his broadcast career in 1993, working Charlotte Hornets basketball games.  He went on to work a variety of broadcast sporting events,  leading to a role on the Fox broadcast team at Bank of America Stadium in 1996.  He was later hired as the stadium’s In-House Maintenance Engineer, a position he still holds today.

In 2000, Buck started work as a Maintenance Engineer supporting PGA Tour golf coverage for CBS, first at National Mobile Television (NMT) and later at National Entertainment Partners (NEP).  He continues to work as a Freelance Field Maintenance Fiber Optic Technician for PGA Tour Productions.
